MOM'S GOALS FOR ITS NEXT PLANNING PHASE: 2013-2016

STRENGTHENING MOM'S MENTORING & LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS FOR INSTRUCTORS
° MOM will concentrate on mentoring programs designed to aid the continued education, understanding and growth of its volunteer instructors.
° MOM will continue to refine and strengthen its existing community education.
° MOM strives to strengthen the spirit of shared responsibility among community members, and will continue to develop programs that support the organic cultivation of individual self-empowerment, self-awareness, and personal accountability - the primary areas of challenge for community members.

DEVELOPING MOM'S EVALUATION & STATISTICAL PROGRAMS AND TOOLS
° MOM would need to hire two experienced coordinators with social service and community economic skills to aid in the development of MOM's Evaluation and Statistical program. This area of concern requires expert communication and familial intervention skills - pro-active skills that are urgently needed within the communities we serve.
° This evaluation personnel will help us to develop MOM's evaluation program and to better evaluate MOM's educational and health progress within each community.
° MOM will set up a system to record with specificity the amazing numbers of health and wellness improvements and recoveries of community participants resulting from MOM's effective education.
° Coordinators will also maintain the record of MOM's specific regimens and timing protocols used by seriously health challenged participants in their healing and recovery process.

SERVING DIVERSE POPULATIONS
° MOM will forge its initiatives to remove the many obstacles and challenges in the way to making its education available to third world peoples.
° In our first and second pilot phase, MOM's work has served primarily the Indian, and Caribbean communities. With our expansion into the North Bronx, and South Bronx, New York, and to Guyana, MOM is taking its education and service to larger and more diverse populations.
° MOM's work in the South Bronx is serving a predominantly Latino, African American and American community.
° We are currently translating MOM's educational materials and workbooks into Spanish.

Update on MOM Guyana: With numerous political and social obstacles in the way, MOM has been struggling to give oxygen to its program in Guyana, SA. It is our intention to continue working toward establishing MOM's unique educational model for at-risk communities in the third world. The size of Great Britain, Guyana is a country in South America with a population of less than one million that - for more than thirty years - has been besieged with manifold layers of pathologies, racial conflict, violence, turmoil, poverty, and disease. Guyana has the largest incident of HIV/AIDS virus in South America.
